Truth…

...about healthcare reform from Howard Dean
"If there is no public insurance option...then this is not reform at all."
I know that the good doctor coveted - and arguably merited - a place in the Obama administration, but, aside from the fact that there's little on his resume to suggest he'd be particularly happy as a professional subordinate, I think the cause of healthcare reform benefits from Dr. Dean's efforts from the outside. Without title or portfolio, he is vested in nothing more or less than good policy, and his credibility as an advocate is correspondingly enhanced.

He has the advantage, too, of being, in this case, indisputably correct.
