From the "You can look it up" file.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- In rhetorical excesses marking his entry in the presidential campaign, Mitt Romney said the economy worsened under President Barack Obama, when it actually improved, and criticized the president for issuing apologies to the world that were never made.
Mitt's a liar.

You can look it up.

Mitt Romney is starting to remind one of his late father, George Romney, once head of American Motors - coined the term "gas-guzzling dinosaurs" for Detroit's behemoths of the 1950s - then governor of Michigan; and finally, a presidential candidate whose statement that he was "brainwashed" about the Vietnam War (undeclared by Congress, per usual since the end of WWII) ended his campaign (after the journos of the day, seized upon that as a sign he was incapable of independent thought).

Now, we are routinely subjected to a former governor of Massachusetts, trying to distance himself from a health care plan, enacted when he was governor, that is similar, if not identical, to what the GOP reviles as "Obamacare." Or we have the same man, who once supported the civil rights of gays and lesbians, now "defending" traditional marriage. Well, he is a Mormon and maybe that explains that.

But when the man starts expropriating a line pulled from Congressman Ron Paul - the desire to ensure "Washington adhers to the Constitution" - you really begin to feel that the fruit indeed doesn't fall far from the tree; as the saying goes.

Mitt Romney: DOA in 2012.
